Thy Kingdom Come 2018
Joining in with the Global Wave of Prayer
We will be joining in with the global wave of prayer between Ascension Day and Pentecost.
During Thy Kingdom Come all of our regular services and gatherings will focus on prayer for our world, our communities and our families and friends.
We are encouraged to pray for 5 friends or family who we would love to see come to know Jesus or grow in our relationship with Him.
There is also an app that can be downloaded.
Thursday 10th May - Ascension Day Service (with bonfire & BBQ)Tuesday 15th May -9-9.30am - Tuesdays Prayers - St Andrew's (St Richard's Chapel)
7.30pm - St Augustine’s - Our annual Ascension day service, bonfire and BBQ will signal the start of our 10 days of prayer. All welcome.
Wednesday 16th May - 11am - Communion Service - St Andrew's Church.
Thursday 17th May - 9.30am - Communion Service - St Augustine's Church.
Friday 18th May - 9.45am - Friday Prayers - St Andrew's Church (St Richard's Chapel).
Sunday 20th May - Pentecost Sunday - Worcester Cathedral Event
6.30pm - Worcester Cathedral. We will be joining with Christians from all denominations from across Worcestershire to pray and worship together. The speaker at this event will be Pete Greig, founder of the 24/7 prayer movement.

Pray Each Day
As well as coming along to any of the events listed below we invite you to ‘pray each day’ by using the Lord’s Prayer as a prayer that we all share.
The Lord’s Prayer
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Amen.
