Planning your Wedding
We will send you a printed version of this planner when we confirm your booking, but here is a simple guide to getting married in one of our churches. More information about each stage of the planning is given on other pages in this site. You can either navigate to them through the menu, or the links on this page.
A to-do list for the church service
At least six months before your wedding
- Contact the vicar and arrange any legal preparations for your wedding
- Make an appointment to see the Director of Music
- Book the choir when you see the Director of Music
- Book the bells
- Plan your flowers
- Make sure you have booked your photographer
Four months before your wedding

One month before your wedding
The week before your wedding
- Have a rehearsal with the vicar in the church
- Make sure you know who your witnesses are
- Double check the timings for the day
Remember, we will work with you to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible, and that it will be an enjoyable and memorable day.
