Parish News this week
Farewell to Lesley
We shall be saying thank you and goodbye to Lesley Rendle (Towey), who has been the Diocese’s Children’s Officer and a Reader in the Parish, at the 10.30am service at St Andrew’s on Sunday 6 July. Do come if you can, or if you cannot get to the service you are warmly invited to the reception in the Parish Centre afterwards at approximately 11.30am.
Café Church @ St Nicholas’
Cafe church takes once a month, usually the fourth Sunday, at 5pm @ St Nicholas’. Could you be part of a team which helps prepare the church and tidy up afterwards, or part of a welcome group to arrange refreshments and meet visitors to the service? That kind of support would help us develop this very important part of our mission. Please talk to or email any of the clergy if you feel you could contribute.
All creatures great & small
On Sunday 6th July at 3pm we shall be holding our annual Pet Service at St Augustine’s (lasting about half a hour). Do come along whether you have a pet or not.
St Augustine’s Open for Prayer
St Augustine’s is open for prayer, reflection and visiting each Saturday morning from 10am to 12pm from now until the end of August. We are looking for stewards to be present in the church during these times. If you would like to help please contact Richard Rose. (01905 773911 or email: richardroserr@hotmail.com )
