Parish Quiet Day - 21st February 2009
Following several similar days which have been much appreciated in the last couple of years, another ‘awayday’ is planned to offer a space for thought and reflection (not necessarily too quiet!) shared with others from the parish. The date will be Saturday 21st February 2009. Starting at 10am and finishing by 4pm there will be three short sessions of input and time to be quiet and reflect in between. Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
You are warmly invited to the Churches Together service on Sunday 18 January at 4pm at the Sacred Heart church, when the preacher will be Archbishop Vincent Nicholls.
Please note that this service replaces our usual 5pm service on that day.
On the following Sunday, 25 January the ministers of all the Droitwich churches are taking part in a marathon ‘pulpit-swap’ and we look forward to welcoming ecumenical colleagues at our 9.30am, 10.30am and 5pm services. The Anglican clergy will be preaching at the Salvation Army and at three services at the Sacred Heart church.

Moving Prayer
If you feel in need of a spiritual lift after Christmas then why not get out your "dancing shoes" and come along to St Nicholas' Church at 2.30pm on Saturday 24th January for a session of meditative circle dancing? Mary Callaway will lead us in simple steps and movements which will bring us to inner stillness. The session will cost £3.00, including light refreshments, and finish at approximately 4.45pm.
