St Andrew’s Church in the middle of Droitwich is the place to go if you feel jaded by the Christmas rush this year. As part of our preparation for Christmas, we are offering an opportunity to experience a bit of peace and calm in the middle of the busy shopping season. Instead of Santa’s grotto, we are hosting a Christmas Labyrinth, and opening our doors to visitors from 10am until 4pm every day until the evening of 22nd December, and also from 7.30 to 9.30 on the evening of 18th.
Labyrinths are an ancient concept. They are a pathway which can be marked out on the floor or maybe even set up outdoors. Some labyrinths have a series of stages where you can stop and think, or if you wish, pray. In St Andrew’s there are stages with things to do, things to think about, things to eat and more.
Entry to the Labyrinth is free of charge, and the church welcomes both adults and children who would like to walk round and find out what it has to offer.
