Craft Day at St Nicholas' Church

This collage of photo's is of the work created by children at our Craft Morning at St Nicholas' Church in September. Afterwards we had a short service to give thanks to God for his world and our creativity.

Ascension Day - Bonfire & BBQ

After the Ascension Day service at St Augustines we light a bonfire and eat BBQ'd hotdogs, soups, tea and cakes. A certain amount of chatter follows and a fire engine turns up to find out what all the fuss is about. (Actually the firemen like hot-dogs too!)

Parish Spring Walk - March 2009

29 Parishoners of all ages (and 7 dogs) stride out on a walk which this year was through the fields and woods around Sneachill and Spetchley Park, followed by lunch at the local pub. This has been an annual event for some years, although, rather than brave the winter weather on the first saturday of the new year, we set off on the first Saturday of Spring.

Junior Choir supporting Trio Con Brio Concert
- 6th December 2008

Some of the Parish Junior Choir performed at the Trio con Brio concert held in St Peter's church. The choir also joined the trio in a moving performance of Silent Night. They were were able to have just one practice in church, with the trio, before the performance began.

Cake Stall - outside the Parish Centre

Some volunteers helping to raise funds by selling cakes outside the Parish Centre. None of the cakes were still hot, but they did sell very quickly! Thank you to all behind the scenes who baked such a wonderful variety. Pots of Jam included!
