Children (& Families)
We love to welcome people of all ages into the life of our community, including children.
There are an increasing number of ways for those with children to get involved as we continue to develop our work with families and children and we look forward to meeting you soon.
At St. Peter's Church there is a growing Sunday Club where children spend part of the service in their own activities learning about God and having lots of fun along the way. St Peter's services start at 9.30am. On the first Sunday of the month is an 'All-age' service, where adults and children worship together.
Our monthly Messy Church takes place at St Andrew's Church in the centre of town from 10am-12. It is a fun and relaxed space for families to come and spend time doing crafts, enjoy songs and a Bible story, as well as enjoying a sandwich lunch. And it's free. Check out the Messy Church page for more information.
Sunday at 3.00 is another opportunity to gather with others to continue the journey of faith at a short interactive informal service which takes place once a month.
It is a pleasure to be able to welcome families into the life of the church and for many this journey starts with the Christening (baptism) of a child. Check out our Baptisms & Thanksgivings page to find out more.
There is also a weekly toddler group that takes place at St Nicholas' Church.

Young people in your family?
We are committed to developing and nurturing relationships with (and between) young people to journey together through this stage in life.
As children grow up and others join in with the community, we are commited to helping young people find a place of belonging, discover what it is to be disciples of Jesus.... while having lots of fun along the way!
If you've got any questions or we can help in any way just let us know.
